JUSTINE MOKESKI, MS CCC-SLP

Certified Speech-Language Pathologist

My name is Justine Mokeski. I was raised in Buffalo, NY and moved to Henderson, NV in grade school. I moved to Reno, NV in 2008 where I received my Bachelor's degree and my Master’s of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology at the University of Nevada, Reno. I spent twelve years in Reno building a life. Upon getting married, my husband and I decided to move to the Vegas Valley to be closer to our families.

During my master’s, I worked as an Autism Behavior Interventionist and obtained ABA experience with children on the spectrum. I have experience with patients of all different ages and with a variety of diagnoses. I love working with children with CAS and feeding difficulties. I have advanced training with PECS, PROMPT, CAS, oral facial myology, and feeding and swallowing disorders.

I chose Speech-Language Pathology early on because I love being able to communicate with and relate to people while being able to help solve a challenging communicative obstacle. One of my favorite quotes is, “A career in speech pathology challenges you to use your intellect (the talents of the mind) in combination with your humanity (the gifts of your heart) to do meaningful work that feeds the soul. I am a proud member of what I consider to be the best profession on earth.” Megan Hodge

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, friends, and family. I have a Shiba Inu dog who is my world. I spend time working out, hiking, enjoying the outdoors, going on travel adventures, trying new local restaurants, shopping, and going to country concerts.
